i went to billy bauer's memorial yesterday. it was really sad and beatiful at the same time. i got to see sal mosca, connie crothers and sonny dallas for the first time. i had a great time hanging out with sonny afterwars, talking about his days with lennie and stuff. i also met bud tristano. all very friendly and gratious people!
